Hey everyone, up for sale is a really hard to find Martin D1R Dreadnought Acoustic guitar. Not many of these appear on e-bay too often. I searched for a while to find this one (being the rosewood version of the D-1). Its sound is absolutely amazing and so much better than the standard D-1. Here's a couple of things about the guitar... I am not the original owner; I am the 2nd owner and the 1st owner had damaged it (but before you turn running hear me out... the guitar has been professionally repaired and the sound has not changed a bit and the structural integrity is perfect) The previous owner left some lasting marks on the guitar (one being in the lower left corner possibly from a table-bump or on-stage fumble and is strictly cosmetic) ... The other issue was the fact that the guitars top had started to split at the bottom of the face in 2 lines with the grain possibly due to another bump or drop, but not from warping since the top is perfectly level (no bowing or belly-ing at all!) The splitting has been filled, heated to bring the wood fibers together, and properly bonded and dried. I watched this as it was professionally done and asked all the questions I could since I'm trying to learn repair tricks myself... The frets have virtually no wear at all, tuners are smooth, if you don't mind a little funky mojo marks on the guitar this is a great find as I'm looking for a quick sale since I'm in need of money to go towards any issues, painting, flooring, customizing the house me and my wife are closing on. I've got too many guitars and it's not gonna kill me to get rid of one or two so you may see another couple out of my collection on ebay shortly! low reserve of 400, and if you want it shipped in a case I will pick one up for it at a low price $20 for a gig bag... as I'm not parting with the case it shares with my Gibson... any questions please ask
