In contrast to many of the other popular artists that sport Martin acoustic guitars, Beck writes and performs a style of music that can best be described as...different. But also great! The Martin D-16BH Beck Signature Edition guitar really reflects Beck's individuality as an artist, while still incorporating the staple characteristics of a genuine Martin.

The top of Beck's custom guitar is made from solid premium book-matched Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are constructed of East Indian Rosewood which add a rich amount of depth to the tone. Beck's Martin is truly one of a kind, just like the man himself.

Jimmy Buffet

The first Jimmy Buffett Signature Edition Martin acoustic guitar was made in 1998. Much to the dismay of Buffett fans (aka "parrotheads") and guitarists, only 424 of the HD-18JB Signature Edition were produced, commemorating 424 Fleming Street in Key West, the location of the now infamous Margaritaville Store and Cafe.

Then in 2003, after working very closely with Jimmy, Martin released two brand new Jimmy Buffet Signature Editions: the 000-JBS Shellback and the 000-JBP Pollywog. Both were beautiful guitars with exceptional tone and craftsmanship. This time, they were sure to make more than 424 of each!
