90s Martin D-16 T. This guitar plays great with low action but
still rings loud and warm. Beautiful high grade woods. One Piece
Mahogany Neck. Pretty real rosewood fretboard. Back in 1995 Martin still
used real wood on their fretboards , not Micarta or Richlight like
today. High grade Mahogany back and sides. The top is a beautiful amber
tone spruce. Note the "Snowflake" inlays on the bridge and
fretboard...and Herringbone inlay on the back. Frets are a little worn
but there's a lot of life left and no buzz. Tortoise shell pick guard
and binding front and back.. This guitar is very light and resonant.
Classic Martin tone..Fishman under the saddle pickup and Fishman preamp.
Great sounding guitar unplugged or plugged into a pa. Original Martin
case in photo is included with sale...Have you priced a new Martin Dread
lately with this quality of wood ? Crazy prices. This guitar is going
on 20 years old and the neck is straight. There is some wear and a crack
on the top that is completely close and does not vibrate and doesn't
effect the sound at all. This crack has been there the entire time I
have owned the guitar, 20 years, and I've never had a problem with it in
any way. Martin made a great guitar with this one. I keep it in the
case with a humidifier. I need money and hate to let this go. I will be
