Up for sale is a very special Manuel and Patterson MJX flattop.  The “custom” designation reflects some nice touches—Honduran rosewood headplate, backstrip and butt wedge;  rosewood binding, and very fine Gotoh 510 tuners.  The guitar has a really cool greenish wood rosette as well.  The top is an extra fine piece of cedar, and the back and sides are mahogany.  This guitar is unbelievably loud, and while it is a killer fingerpicker, it also sounds very good strummed.  The MJX is Manuel and Patterson’s take on a Selmer/Macaferri style body, but with a flat top.  VERY versatile, incredibly well-made instrument.   1 and ¾ width at the nut. Standard scale. 14 frets and the cutaway gives great access to upper registers.

This guitar is practically new (near mint condition)—I got it for Christmas, and now I am forced to sell it so I can finish recording an album.  Please feel free to ask any questions.
