You are viewing a Martin HD28VS Vintage Series USA Guitar from Oklahoma Vintage Guitar. This is one of those guitars that has impressed me greatly. To be honest with you I play guitars every day that are $5000 to $100,000 guitars and it gets to where it is the same old same old. Nice guitars are nice guitars but I just get used to the very best and in so doing the very best becomes average to me because it is all I handle on a daily bassis. From time to time there is a guitar that comes through the store that gets my attention and I start begging Sandra to let me keep it. This HD28VS is one of those guitars. The sound of this thing shook my backbone as I sat and played it. You know what I mean, sometimes guitar vibrates your soul with sound that is unexplainable. The 12 frets free of the body neck is really comfortable and the action is low and fast and easy to play all the way down the neck and the sound doesn't deminish as you go higher. The string pressure on a slotted headstock guitar is better than on a non-slotted. I think this is part of what gives the guitar this huge sound. Also, don't be fooled into thinking the neck is shorter, it is not. The body comes up and meets the neck at the 12th fret instead of the 14th fret which mean the body is actually longer from the sound hole to the neck heel and you get more sound out of the bigger body. I has a huge crystal clear dreadnought sound with a massive low end and pristine highs. The Modified V Shape neck has a super sweet low action and it plays smooth, fast and easy. Even though it has a huge Dreadnought sound which works great for Bluegrass music, the action on the guitar also makes it fun to use as a fingerpicking guitar. The Black Ebony fingerboard is smooth and very well dressed and really easy to play. The entire top of the guitar is bound in Bold Herringbone inlay which gives it a epic, legendary Martin look. The Rosewood on this guitar is exceptionally beautiful and it sounds as good as the very best sounding guitars we have ever had. It has a very straight grained Solid Sitka Spruce top. The classic vintage look of this beautiful Martin is topped off with a classic beveled tortoise color pick guard. This pristine guitar sounds like a guitar that has been aged for years but it was built in the past year and has been used less than one half hour. It is spotless and exactly like new. The Diamonds and Squares inlays are give you precise positioning. This guitar comes with a Black Hard Shell 545 Geib Style Martin case and all the original Martin papers and goodies. It comes with a brand new set of Martin Strings installed and has been professionally set up to play super well and fast with these strings. This is your chance to get this great guitar just like new without having to pay the new price. Most collectors believe these guitars are among the best investments on the guitar market today. The guitar comes with a full warranty through Oklahoma Vintage Guitar/Best Price Guitar in Oklahoma City OK and it hasn't the Martin Lifetime Factory Warranty.
