1982 MARTIN HD-35

EXTRAORDINARY FIND. ONE OF THE WORLD'S BEST. EXTRA FINE CONDITION.

NO STORIES OR EXCUSES HERE.

I just received this guitar from it's original owner.  Everything, I mean everything that could be done to maintain this guitar's functionality has been addressed during its 28 year lifetime, and all under Martin's lifetime warranty by an authorized luthier.  I guarantee this guitar is prepared for its next 28 years.  It looks better than many shopworn new guitars.

Action is perfect, action height is less than (2) dimes at the 12th fret.  Plenty of saddle left due to recent neck reset.  Impeccable job.

Frets and fretboard look awesome with hardly any sign of wear.

Obviously crack free.

Fit and finish look near new.  Very, small, slight, shallow "worming" on the back from a belt or pants.  Camera will not show it is so light.

Bone nut, saddle and bridge pins (w/tortoise dots.)

Back of neck looks beautiful.

Top and pickguard look great, the sitka is very, very tight and even with lots of cross grain silking.

Binding is tight and has begun to take on a beautiful yellow patina

Not even a strap pin.

OHSC is as nice as the guitar, (these cases fetch $200.00 or more on eBay.)

The sound is BIG, THICK, and RICH.  Think of a D-35 on steroids.  BIG BASS OVERTONES.  Good sustain too.

That's about it folks, a great looking, exceptionally fine, wonderful sounding 28 year old Martin HD-35.  This was only the third year of production for the HD-35.  28 year old guitars in this condition don't come around often.  If kept even close to its current condition this guitar can never be worth less, investment grade for sure.  This guitar has not changed since it's introduction in 1980, go to Martin's website for additional specification information:   http://www.martinguitar.com/guitars/choosing/guitars.php?p=m&m=HD-35

As with all my auctions, I've priced this guitar to sell and not expire.  Most of my auctions end early using the "Buy it Now" option.

I'll pack it myself, I've done many.  It will be done right!  I will make every effort to ship the next day if possible.

All you'll need to do is tune it and enjoy.

Please read the following:

If you can't pay, DON'T BID.

I will only ship to an address in the lower 48, USA.

I will only accept a return if I have not properly described the make, model, condition, and structural integrity of this guitar accurately, which I have.  I will not accept a return for "buyer's remorse" or subjective items like tone or playability.....but trust me and my good feedback, this think plays easy and sounds great.

If you have anything negative in the last year, ask before bidding.

If you have less than (5) feedbacks, ask before bidding.

Thanks and Good Luck!
